Creative Writing #3

We had to write for 15 minutes straight and produce a sort of "steam-of-consciousness" journal for our blog. Here it is:

Is there some unified goal or purpose that we all aspire to achieve, or do we each quest to reach separate limits? Why do our paths cross in life so that strangers become friends & foes, but friends become enemies? It's strange to think that our air is poisoned, but we're all just dust in the wind. Maybe we're the poison? However, this is irrelevant because it is a psuedoscience. And anything that isn't relevant to elephants is irrelephant. Why then do we care if not more than 1/3 of us will actually see an elephant in the wild? We may never know, like the licker of a tootsie roll pop who often often drops his stick before the night and when the time is right. Price, which one is right and what it tight? If the world was on a stick, it'd take us several thousand nights. We need those knights, in armor reflecting sunlight, to ride back to Camelot and thwart evil terrorists' plots being formulated near and far, America and Kandahar. Allah screams a lesson, but the listeners' ears are not in season. Change for the newborn king of the 10000 golden cows we worship. What then do we know of the golden hills to and fro, between Francisco and Cairo? The deepest and darkest seas beckon us, they call & cull the minds of the race that they once owned. Will you surf the shark? Will you slay the steed? Dying Montague and Capulet did so and lived on top of it. They died beneath it and eat the children of it. Worthless are words with no meaning, then is this not true? Fly through the sky and pose those questions, black holes, LOLs, and garden hose.

  1. Hmmm... almost like stream of consciouss poetry. I especially liked the line "Allah screams a lesson, but the listeners' ears are not in season". The whole stream of writing has a certain cadence to it; which makes in enjoyable to read. All the myraid refrences to religion, etc. also made this fun to read.
